NerdLabs ("we," "us," or "our") operates Shopify applications including SmartOptions, CheckMate, ProfitFinder, and QuickFiles. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use any of our apps.

When you install one of our apps, we may access the following through the Shopify API:

• Store information (name, domain, email, plan)
• Product and order data as required by the app's functionality
• Theme files (only when the app needs to integrate with your storefront)

We do not collect personal information from your customers beyond what is necessary for app functionality (e.g., checkout validation for CheckMate).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the app's features
• To communicate with you about your account or support requests
• To improve our apps and develop new features
• To comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by DigitalOcean. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data in transit. We retain your data only as long as your app is installed, plus a reasonable period for backup purposes.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, except:

• Infrastructure providers (hosting, databases) necessary to operate the service
• When required by law or to protect our legal rights

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Uninstalling the app will trigger deletion of your stored data within 30 days.

6. Cookies

Our apps may use session cookies required for authentication and functionality. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. GDPR & CCPA

We comply with applicable data protection regulations including GDPR and CCPA. If you are a merchant in the EU or California, you have additional rights regarding your data. Contact us to exercise them.
